As part of a dynamic and motivated team, you will work on various and challenging projects, such as the operation of existing games and the integration of new games into our existing infrastructure.
Your mission
- You operate the robust, automated server infrastructure (Ansible) for our browser- and client-based online games and ensure a smooth gaming experience together with your team
- You welcome innovations and system changes openly and proactively bring fresh ideas and improvements to the team
- You work closely with our internal developers and external game studios and help shape the planning of game maintenances
- You independently take on the implementation of game maintenances, content updates, test installations and troubleshooting when necessary - always with an eye for detail
- You develop customized hardware sizings, deployment strategies and automation concepts together with your team
- You participate in the flexibly scheduled on-call service for 24/7 operation and ensure the stable availability of our systems

Your skills
- You have knowledge and experience in the administration of Linux server systems and master complex infrastructures with confidence
- You know at least one scripting language (such as Perl, Bash or Python) like the back of your hand and use it specifically for automation processes
- Your expertise in Ansible and the automation of complex, heterogeneous infrastructures is a strong asset for our team
- You are familiar with terms such as clusters, web servers, high availability, databases and firewalls - and you know how to use them optimally
- You actively contribute to the team, share your knowledge and want to continuously develop your skills
- With an open mind for improvements, you question existing processes, critically analyze risks and always think outside the box
